Mr A contacted us about his PulsaCoil 3 leaking from the header tank, when he called us, he opted for a standard rate repair, unfortunately his PulsaCoil was beyond economical repair. Below you will find images of Mr A’s PulsaCoil 3 header tank, you can clearly see that the header tank has been leaking for a long period of time and it has also rusted through the top of the PulsaCoil thermal store. Mr A opted to replace it with a Fabdec ThermaCoil. The installation was carried out in under three hours and the old unit was removed and ethically disposed of.
The customer opted for a ThermaCoil replacement instead of the new PulsaCoil PCS. The ThermaCoil is a far less complicated system, the electronic hot water delivery system found within a PulsaCoil includes a Printed Circuit Board, Pump, Sensors and Relays.
The Fabdec ThermaCoil has replaced the electronic delivery system components with a single mechanical blending valve, for the user of the system it is no different but for long term maintenance it is much simpler.
