Miss W contacted The Plumbing Group Limited when she began having trouble with her PulsaCoil 3. An engineer headed out to the property to find out what the issue was. It didn’t take too long for the engineer to determine that the cylinder was split and leaking. When this is the case, the boiler itself has to be replaced. This is because it is deemed beyond economical repair.
In this case Miss W couldn’t afford to pay for a new boiler. Luckily, the engineer was able to carry out a temporary repair on the existing boiler so Miss W had some hot water until she was able to get a new one. Our engineers carry all spare parts and stock on their vehicles with them so they were able to carry out a repair then and there.
Our engineer replaced the PulsaCoil 3 on-peak immersion and the off-peak stat. The repair was carried out on the same visit in under an hour. Miss W was then able to use the on peak boost to get hot water two hours later.
Miss W was extremely happy to have hot water again and is currently saving for her replacement boiler.
