Mrs D called The Plumbing Group Limited when she began having issues with her PulsaCoil 3. One of our engineers headed out to the property to take a look at the boiler. They found that the cylinder was split and leaking. When this is the case the unit is deemed beyond economical repair and has to be replaced. They were unable to temporarily repair it whilst the customer awaited their new boiler.
Mrs D decided to have a Fabdec ThermaCoil as her replacement boiler as opposed to the PulsaCoil PCS. This is the option we would recommend as it is a far simpler system. The PulsaCoil contains many different parts such as a Printed Circuit Board, Pump, Sensors and Relays. The ThermaCoil on the other hand has replaced all of this with a single mechanical blending valve. For the user of the system it is no different but for long term maintenance it is much simpler.
The installation was carried out in under three hours and the old unit was removed and ethically disposed of.
