Mrs D contacted The Plumbing Group Ltd when she began having trouble with her PulsaCoil 3. She first noticed that all of the lights on the boiler had gone out. She then found that her PulsaCoil wasn’t working on either on peak or off peak. An engineer headed out to the property as soon as they could to find out why this was. Once the engineer had arrived, he completed a number of tests and checks on the boiler. It was found that the safety float valve had failed.
In order to fix this, the engineer firstly had to drain off the feed and expansion tank. He then disconnected and removed the float valve switch and replaced it with a new one. The tank was then refilled. Once this had been completed the engineer carried out a final round of checks to ensure that everything was working as it should be.
All of our engineers carry any spares or parts that they may need with them at all times. This meant that the engineer was able to complete the job there and then to make it as quick and simple for the customer as they could. The repair was carried out in under an hour. Mrs D was then able to use the on peak boost to get hot water two hours later.
Mrs D called the following day to confirm that the off peak immersion heater had heated the over night.
